. he joins us live from the romney campaign headquarters in boston with what this evening has in store for the form he governor. visiting a couple of key swing states this afternoon and through the day before showing up here for election night. he started in ohio and then to pittsburgh. something he is trying to do last night in new hampshire. let's give a listen to what he had to say. >> the last months of our campaign have seen the gathering of strength. a real movement across this country. look at the size of these crowds. i understand that there are a few thousand people outdoors who couldn't get in. >> and the significant crowd expected here tonight as well. either plate tonight, either a concession speech or celebrate a hard fought victory. that is the latest live from boston. back to you, jim, pat. >>> thanks. president obama will watch election returns tonight in chicago. today he stopped by one of his campaign field offices. he thanked volunteers in person and on the phone. for their work on his behalf. steve handelsman has covered every step of this presidential caaign.
, making its way off the coast of new england. right now north and east of boston. snowfall amounts up there, they had record snowfall. in fact, the snowiest november on record for central parts. look at the amounts. central park 4.7 inches of snow. bridgeport, connecticut, 5.4 inches of snowfall, after a hurricane, of course. as far as our temperatures go today, we're in the 50s. indeed chilly. we're going to be taking a bit of a breather from not just the chill that we've had out there over the last couple of days, almost two weeks now. but also, from this active pattern that we've been in. for your evening, 5:00, 7:00, under a clear sky. it's going to be chilly. we'll head down to 44 degrees by 9:00. 11:00 p.m., 42 degrees. sun sets today at 5:00. a dry, cold night. we've got a quiet day coming up tomorrow. and a warm break will be coming our way. wait until you see how high the temperatures are going to go, not just for the weekend, but also through the early part of next week. i'll have more in just a few minutes. >>> the army private charged with leaking government secrets to
boston and maine. i think the areas around hartford, connecticut, and new jersey, where they've seen the bigger snowflakes already, the low visibility is the locations that could pick up that snowfall. again, making its way more and more into our area. slow-moving storm, but still for us, because it's taken so long, the saturated air is going to be in and out. philadelphia getting some mixed conditions. look around coastal new jersey. snow there showing up for us, again. we're going to see light showers. the little spritz of rain that we're getting, scattered right now. that will start to pick up more and more. by 7:00 p.m., light rain, maybe a few flakes that will start mixing in. same thing for 8:00, 9:00. and i think by the time we get to 11:00 p.m., midnight, our precipitation will be ending. temperatures above freezing. but with any wet roads tomorrow morning, may be looking at some slick spots. 43 leesburg. 39 winchester. plenty cold out there, again, with the wind, it's giving us lou windchill readings where it feels like it's in the 30s right now. winds for tomorrow morn
